New Season celebrating 140 years since the club’s formation!

Ross Rugby Football Club gladly welcomes you to our website.

Ollie Floyd – Chairman’s message (please see “Ollie Floyd Tribute Page” for more)

Like you all I am still trying to process and digest the tragic news of Ollie’s passing yesterday. Ollie was a player, clubman, friend and our Floydy;  he is already desperately missed and for those who were at Greytree last night the stunned silence from players, officials and friends spoke volumes of the shock and sadness felt by all. It is during these dark moments that it is important that we come together as a club to offer support and solidarity to Nick, Hayley, Tom, John, Sandra and family, and each other.

On that note Nick and Hayley have asked for this Saturday’s game, at home to Ashley Down, be held in memory and as a tribute to Ollie. Please come down show your support and your solidarity. Lets remember and grieve together and support Nick, Hayley and the family in their time of need.

We thank everyone who has posted messages of condolences on Facebook over the last 24 hours and send our heartfelt condolences to Nick, Hayley, Tom, John and Sandra at this very difficult time for them.

I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

We are a truly local club, where young and older players of all abilities are made welcome. There are plenty of opportunities for players and members of the local community to come down and enjoy either playing for, or supporting their local rugby team on Saturday afternoons. We run Junior teams from U7 – U13, have a ladies touch team and run two sides from our Men’s squad.
