We are a tru
ly local club, where young and older players of all abilities are made welcome. There are plenty of opportunities for players and members of the local community to come down and enjoy either playing for, or supporting their local rugby team on Saturday afternoons.We run Junior teams from U7 – U13, have a ladies touch team and run two sides from our Men’s squad.

The club enjoys a wide range of social events throughout the year, which are advertised on our website in the News & Events section.
Ladies coach Simon Gwynne and captain Amie Powell thanked their section for the hard work and dedication they had shown. This, matched with good friendship and support of each other, made for a great group which they hoped would grow in future.
The awards were then presented by Haley Floyd.

The evening moved on with 1st. captain Matthew Redman and 2nd. team manager Ian Phillips,thanking their players and stressing that as 1 club everyone was as vital to success as each other. It had been a good season with the 1st.team finishing 3rd .in their league and the 2nds. having finished well up in theirs. It was great to have welcomed new players this year and this boded well for the future.

Steve Gibbons Award for Dedication to the Club :-Pete Jarvis
2nd. TeamTop Try Scorer :- Paul Wooding with 9tries
2nd. Team Top Points Scorer :-Paul Wooding with 87 pts.
1st. Team Top Try Scorer :- Craig Smith with 15 tries
1st. Team Top Points Scorer :- Huw Bellamy with 166pts.
2ndTeamPlayers’ Player of the Season :- Joe Mulldowney
1st. Team Players’Player of the Season was unanimously voted to be Ollie Floyd and the award was accepted on his behalf by close friends Gavin Oates,Casey Morgan and Chay Brine.
Nick Rawlings thanked evryone in the club for their support throughout a difficult season and asked that next year was attacked with renewed vigour.
Club President’s Awards were presented to Guy Gregory for his hard work in developing the Junior Section: Casey Morgan for outstanding play during the season : Coach Nick Rawlings for his passion, loyalty and dedication during a very difficult year.
The evening ended with much celebration and bonhomie.

In the juniors we are especially looking for U9 and U12 players – so please spread the word!!
Ross RFC 1sts will be playing in the South West Division – Gloucester 2 in the 2014/2015 season. The 2nds team will be playing in the Midlands Merit Division 3.
All training and games take place at our Greytree pitch:
Training takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.30pm (for a 6:45pm start).
Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
