One of the oldest rugby clubs in the world, forming just 2 years after the RFU had its first meeting to agree on a standardised set of rules. Back in 1873 rugby was a very different sport than it is today with a try only having half the value of awarding a "try" for a conversion.

We are truly a local club and by far the best rugby team in Ross-on-Wye, where players of all abilities are welcome.

There are plenty of opportunities for players and members of the local community to come down and enjoy either playing for or supporting their local rugby teams.

We currently put out 2 Mens senior sides on a Saturday afternoon with the 1st XV playing in the Gloucester League 2nd division and the 2nd XV playing in the Gloucestershire Merit League 3.

Our Ladies touch team is ever expanding and play their tournaments on Sunday afternoons in the Midland Touch League.

Our fantastic Junior section play or train every Sunday between September and April.

We look forward to welcoming you into a rugby club family.
