RFUNew Season celebrating 140 years since the club’s formation!

Ross Rugby Football Club gladly welcomes you to our website.

 

We are a truly local club, where young and older players of all abilities are made welcome. There are plenty of opportunities for players and members of the local community to come down and enjoy either playing for, or supporting their local rugby team on Saturday afternoons.We run Junior teams from U7 – U13, have a ladies touch team and run two sides from our Men’s squad.

North Midlands RFU Volunteer Awards Evening June 4 2014

At the awards ceremony last night we had 3 candidates:
  1. Ben Taylor Davis – senior club volunteer of the year – nominated for his work coaching the ladies, providing the barn for all sections of the club, grass cutting etc
  2. Ann Mince  - club volunteer of the year – nominated for her work in reviving the ladies team and making it such a success, serving on various committees etc
  3.  Adrian Osborne  - mini and junior volunteer of the year – nominated for his work with the U11 and 12s, summer activity camp, tag tournaments, passing level 2 etc
Os won  - the first ever award to a ROW person – many congratulations, richly deserved and congratulations to him and our other extremely worthy candidates

More Information…

Ross RFC 1sts will be playing in the South West Division – Gloucester 2 in the2013/2014 season. The 2nds team will be playing in the Midlands Merit Division 3.

All training and games take place at our Greytree pitch:

Abotts close,
Greytree,
Ross-on-Wye,
HR9 7GQ

Training takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.30pm (for a 6:45pm start).

Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
